Chicken Parmesan

Preparation Time
30 minutes (15 minutes prep, 15 minutes to bake)
Ingredients
- 2 whole chicken breasts, washed, patted dry with paper towels, halved and trimmed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- approximately 1 cup flour
- approximately 1 cup milk
- approximately 1 cup italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 3 cups basic tomato sauce
- 4 - 8 slices mozzarella cheese
Directions
- preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- tenderize the chicken to get a uniform thickness.
- heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
- put flour, milk and bread crumbs in separate pie dishes; coat the chicken well in each.
- place breaded chicken in skillet and cook for 10 minutes, turning over half way through.
- place tomato sauce in a 9x12-inch baking dish. Place cooked chicken on tomato sauce, then place mozzarella slices over the chicken. Put in preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly bubbling.
- serve with spaghetti or rice.
