Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 white onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 lb ground beef
- italian spices (basil, oregano, thyme)
- 1 large jar Prego meat sauce
- spaghetti noodles
- parmesan cheese, freshly grated
Directions
- saute onion in butter in a large skillet over medium heat, until translucent. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain fat if needed.
- add italian spices and spaghetti sauce; stir well, then partially cover setting the lid ajar to allow steam out.
- simmer over low heat for an hour or so to steam the water out; when the sauce looks good and thick, it's done!
- cook the spaghetti noodles per package instructions; drain well.
- pile noodles on plates with sauce and top off with grated parmesan cheese
