Gravy
remove giblets from turkey
simmer in 1 can chicken broth with diced tomato, diced onion, diced parsley, sliced celery and sliced carrots for 3 hours or so; strain.
in the same pot, mix turkey drippings with a few tablespoons flour and add strained giblet broth. Slowly add more flour, stirring constantly until the desired thickness is achieved.
add lemon juice, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, sweet soy sauce and heavy cream, adjusting amounts to taste.
if more gravy is needed, add chicken broth.
Turkey
wash with water, cut fat away from neck and dry thoroughly with paper towels (inside & out)
melt 1 cube butter for basting
add lemon juice
season the outside of the turkey with seasoned salt and paprika
tie string around wings to hold close to turkey
put turkey in shallow baking pan, with a rack.
fill turkey with stuffing
hook legs in metal brackets (should come with turkey)
pin opening closed
baste with lemon butter
bake at 325 degrees for about 4 hours, basting every 45 minutes
after 3 1/2 hours or so, put meat thermometer in leg
when meat thermometer reaches 190/poultry the turkey is done
